BARBARA DENK is a freelance photographer based in the Seattle – Puget Sound area.  Her interest in photography started with an African safari and then spread to gardens, country sides, sea shores and then to the stories of our own urban streets and present day lifestyles.  Here she takes those images to a second level transforming them to artistic renderings for the home and workplace.

Barbara’s work has appeared in numerous regional and national magazines including Garden Design, Coastal Living, Portrait of Portland and Seattle Homes and Lifestyles.  Barbara is best known for her two books, “The Abundant Garden” (Cool Springs Press) and “A Garden Gallery” (Timber Press) and is a 2006 Winner of the Garden Writers Association Silver Media Award for her photography: Book “A Garden Gallery.”
